Course Description (in brief):

• Disasters have been part of life whether it is natural or manmade and it occurs unexpectedly and cause many severe problems (Destructions, Deaths, Diseases, Damages, Deteriorations, and the like)
• Mass Causality is defined simply as a number of victims when their need to be manage effectively exceed the available resources
• Taking care of the victims depends mainly on two areas, namely pre hospital (disaster scene) and hospitals
• Proper training and planning are the keys of success

• Understand basic concept of mass casualty medical management
• Identify the key principles of pre hospital care
